Anything New?

I have nothing new to write about actually, but I guess I need to justify having this blog.

Does anyone have any news about Anita Baker? New music? Concert reviews? Anything?

    Ms. Baker was phenomenal in St. Lucia. She is unique, personable, and quite a performer. She is my favorite singer, and she just has a great great conversation through her music here with us in St. Lucia.

    We are hope to see her in St. Lucia again. We wish her all the best.

    Howdy. Did Anita eventually make it to lagos? I know she was in south africa a few months back. Was that part of this tour you spoke of here? And if she came did you attend?

    Anita Baker did come to Lagos, but did not perform. Long story and I've been meaning to write about it. I'll put up some links to the other blog stories about it as soon as I can.

    But needless to say, I was EXTREMELY disappointed.

    There just wasn't much to blog about Ms. Baker. Although there was the fiasco of a concert that never was. I meant to blog about it and just never got around to doing it.

    Anita performed at the Orange County Fair Jul 18th. What a disappointment. She only performed for an hour. At exactly 9:30 she walked off saying she had to stop at 9:30. I've never been to a concert that lasted only 1 hour. Why pay good money for such a short concert!

    I attended this concert too at the Pacific Amphitheater in Orange County. It wasn't Anita's doing that it was only an hour - 9:30 was the curfew she was given by that venue. It's not because she decided that's all she was going to do. She's never given an hour long show, not even when she starts late.
