What Happened to AnitaBaker.org?

Where is this site? It is Anita Baker's official website afterall and it just disappeared. Very odd.......

    Maybe her 'people' decided that since there's hardly any news about Anita, it wasn't worth having a site. Dunno.

    I believe it did pretty well, especially considering that she has been out of the scene for so long. I heard that she was great at her concerts and I know that her fans are still out there.

    Well, we live in much less friendly times for artistes. Record companies seem so much less accomodating, unless they are sured that their artistes will churn out hit after hit.

    But, I have no idea what's going on.

    I am an Anita fan for life! I'm 25 years old and have listend to her for the whole 25. I just wanted to say to the host of this blog, I too, am an advocate for people. I am in the human services field, and am currently working on the self-sufficientcy of my community. I think it's great what you have done. Thank you for this site!... Crystal

    Anita is performing tonight at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, not a sold-out show though. Looking forward to watching her with my wife and 6 yr old daughter (we want her to watch good talents as much as possible)

    I just saw Anita last night in London....as the saxophonist for al greeen, let me tell she is one of the best performers I have ever seen...great voice I didnt realize that she can actually blow and holla! yall know what I mean....she invited us to her show...one of the nicest artist I have ever met...thanks Anita!

    i love anita sooooo much, an im 25 years old. my ma brought me up on her and lutha (luther vandross) i remember them in concert with one another a long time ago and i loved it, im actually sitting in my office and listening to her album right now, im listening to "giving you the best that i got" that cd and right now listening to "you belong to me, man i could listen to her all day. i love the rapture cd too come back mrs baker we lov ya gurl

    Was a fan of Anita Baker for 25 years until she came to Raleigh, NC & showed out. She made her crew redo the stage several times before coming on stage to perform which made the concert fall hours late, this was frustrating b/c the only thing you do was just stand in line & wait. That was over the top inasmuch the tickets & parking fee was not cheap, it was just very inconsiderate.
