You are My Everything
At last!!! Some new studio material from Anita Baker. I heard it was coming, but I didn't want to believe it until I heard it. Finally I did over the 4th of July weekend on a radio station in New Orleans. I was attending the annual Essence Music Festival for the first time (more about that later). You Are My Everything is a wonderfully sultry song, which will not disappoint fans. Now, I'm really excited about the album. What do you all think about the single?

I also was so happy to hear hat Anita Baker was making another cd. I love Anita Baker, she is so talented and such a special woman. I saw Anita at Westbury Concerts last year I think it was. She took a long time coming out but when she did, wow it was worth the wait. Her back up singers were remarkable, I think they also sang for Areatha Franklin. Anita, might have been a little nervous but once she got started she just blew it up. Her voice was even better than before. It was so good, I hated for the show to end. So you guys keep up the good work.

You reminded me that the CD has some videos, which will not play on my DVD player. I've been meaning to try it on my computer.
I enjoyed the concert CD. It was great to hear some live sets. I didn't get the greatest hits, because I already have all her albums. I am waiting for the new album with bated breath.

I'd buy her music if all she did on it was hum. She's has a lot to say in her music.
